Travelling by road from the South:
Follow directions to Lairg. When you reach the village, take the A836 North and West out of the village. Shortly after the road starts to move away from the loch, take a left turn onto the A838. Take the right turn onto an unclassified road signposted to Achnairn, Achfrish and Tirryside. Follow the road for approximately 1.4 miles and you’ll see Forge Cottage on your left-hand side.
The nearest airport is Inverness Airport, 39.8 miles away. Flights are available daily from Birmingham, East Midlands, Bristol, Belfast, London Gatwick and Luton and we can arrange a transfer from the airport to Loch Shin. Car hire is available at the airport and highly recommended for some wonderful day trips to the north/north west of Scotland.
